About the event
We will be guiding people through the process of hand sewing their very own personalized sock monkey using socks with imperfect knits left over from Wig-Wam’s manufacturing process. We will gather on the platform of the historic Elkhart Lake Depot. All ages and skill levels are welcome and if anyone has socks with a special design they want to bring to use for their project they are encouraged too. Guided by our founder, Baxter Salzwedel, this is the perfect opportunity to refresh your hand sewing skills, and create an adorable custom handmade memento.
