Patch Your Own Jacket Workshop at Paradigm Coffee & Music

At this event, we will take participants through the process of sewing patches onto their personalized denim jackets. We will have sewing machines available for participants to use but if you have one at home you're encouraged to bring it. Our experienced seamsters will enthusiastically help you get up to speed on your personal machine so you can continue using it at home! Participants will choose from our huge collection of recycled/deadstock fabrics and can choose from the many jackets we'll have available on-site, or are also welcome to bring their own jackets to ensure their perfect fit and wash! Please avoid bringing poly-blend denim in for rework! Stretchy denim is much harder to work with and can be quite a challenge for beginners to sew on. This workshop is friendly to both beginner and intermediate sewists and 10% of proceeds from ticket sales go toward the Sheboygan County Boys and Girls Club
