About the event
The art of painting with watercolors is a somewhat forgiving medium that requires little to some skill to begin working with. Participants with a beginner skill set and those with years of experience will find this 4-week class both relaxing and rewarding. Participants will get to end each class by taking home their creations inspired by Elkhart Lake’s historic iconography. Each class we will delve into a new town landmark and learn basic and advanced techniques, working from both photos and form.
Perspective participants are required to be 14 years of age or older as we will be working with materials that require supervision. Participants are encouraged but not required to bring their own materials, however, watercolors, watercolor paper, easels, and brushes will be provided. 10% of proceeds from our Water Color series go toward the Elkhart Lake School Districts Art Department.
